Pink Week at OBG

It is Pink Week for the Opel Bash Group, October 16th through the 20th!

1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. As a women-owned and run firm, we want to do our part in supporting Breast Cancer awareness, research and services. We are using this week to fundraise for the American Cancer Society before we partake in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk as a team on Saturday!

Our current team goal is $1000 but we hope to break that glass ceiling fast!

Just call us the Pink Ladies! The firm really showed up yesterday for our second day of Pink Week during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The rates at which women are diagnosed with Breast Cancer start to significantly raise after you reach 40 and are the highest around 70.

When life comes at you with something as serious as breast cancer, we don’t want you to have to worry about having to plan for all of the “what if’s” that could come forward. We want to help you feel prepared and confident in knowing you have everything in place in case the worst is to happen. Do you have someone lined up to be your Healthcare Power of Attorney? A person in your life that you have deemed trustworthy in making medical decisions in your place should you be in a state where you’re unable to, do you have that?

Some people are planners but you never know when life can take a turn for the worse and it’s always better to be prepared before it happens. Let us arrange those things so that when life happens, you don’t have to worry about those details.

Our initial meetings for Estate Planning are free so that you can come and get your questions answered and any misconceptions cleared before taking the next steps. It never hurts to be prepared!

And just like that, pink week is over! We had an amazing week fundraising for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk and we are blown away by all the generousity we received!!!

We were able to raise $2,007 in less than a week because of you guys!
